Why isn't this website 'fancy'?

Thats a question I was asking myself when desiging this site but the answer I gave myslef was, 'Why should it be?'. I could've spent an extortionate amount of money on a 'fancy' website that I would've gained nothing more from than I do this one. A simple website gets across all the information I need it to without people thinking, 'WHERE IS THE CONTACT DETAILS', because instead of them being hidden away in sub-pages of sub-pages, they are clearly stated in the footer. I took inspiration from a few websites, primarily Berkshire Hathaway's site. A multinational company lead by Warren Buffet. They're website had nothing 'fancy' in it but quickly and simply conveys all the required information. Their website can be found at www.berkshirehathaway.com.
